Agreeing a financial settlement

This next video in the series is all about agreeing a financial settlement.

A financial settlement on divorce and cohabiting couples is always a compromise, balancing the needs of the individuals concerned and their children, in both the short and the long term.

When divorcing you only have one pot! All fees paid via that pot will ultimately reduce the settlement you both receive.

Try to sort out as many of the aspects of the finances in an amicable way. This will reduce the cost both emotionally and financially.
